A lot of bike for the money. No problems here. I am second owner. Longest trip was to Newfoundland. No issues at all. Easy to service. K&N air filter, Brembo brakes , New battery. I have another bike and this one doesn't get ridden.

The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. 2011-2012 BMW K1600GT, K1600GTL Recalled in Canada for Engine Stall Issues
Thu, 31 Oct 2013BMW is recalling the 2011-2012 K1600GT and K1600GTL in Canada because of a risk of the engine stalling. At the moment, a recall has only been confirmed for Canada, though we expect a similar recall to come for the U.S. market from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
