Up for grabs is my 2016 BMW R1200GS special edition triple black! Original owner, I bought it brand new. Only 1,960 miles, never wrecked or dropped. The only noteworthy blemish is a small scratch on the front fender as pictured. The break in service was performed at the dealer at 607 miles, have the receipt to show. Title is free clear and in hand, Please note I will not release the bike to a shipper until your payment has cleared! Original MSRP was $21,460 save some dough here! 2014 BMW C evolution Electric Scooter Revealed
Tue, 10 Sep 2013BMW has expanded its maxi-scooter lineup with a new electric-powered model. Officially revealed after a year of testing at various events in Europe such as the 2012 London Olympics, the BMW C evolution is now ready for production, joining the gas-powered C650GT and C600 Sport. The C evolution is powered by a liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor claiming an European Union-rated 15 hp, though if you really strain the motor peak output can reach 47 hp.
BMW Announces 2014 Model Updates and New K1600GT Sport
Thu, 11 Jul 2013BMW announced a new variant to its six-cylinder K-series and other small updates to returning 2014 models. The 2014 models were first revealed last weekend’s BMW Motorrad Days celebration but we now have full details on the updates. The new 2014 BMW K1600GT Sport is based on the existing K1600GT but adds a special Sakhir Orange/Black Storm Metallic paint job, black gloss-coated wheels, a shorter windscreen and a sportier seat design.
OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
