THIS IS A 2016 CUSTOM BOBBER THAT I BUILT THIS YEAR FOR MYRTLE BEACH BIKE WEEK. IT IS A 240 REAR TIRE RIGID FRAME THAT IS 4 UP 2 OUT AND 38 ON THE NECK. THE FRONTEND IS A STOCK CHROME THAT IS 4" OVER AND A 5 DEGREE TREE. THE BIKE IS DONE IN CHROME AND BLACK WITH THE FRAME PAINTED A SUNSET ORANGE. THE FRONT WHEEL IS A MAMMOTH SPOKE 26" WHEEL YOU WOULD NORMALLY SEE ON A BAGGER BUT I USED IT ON A BOBBER. THE REAR WHEEL IS AN 18" WITH A 240 TIRE. STAINLESS ROTORS WITH PM BRAKES. THE ENGINE IS A HARLEY 1340 EVO WITH A CAM AND S&S CARB. THE PIPES ARE VANCE & HINES. THE TRANS IS A HARLEY 5 SPEED. A BDL 3" OPEN BELT DRIVE MAKES UP THE PRIMARY. I USED 12" LOOSE BARS WITH GMA CONTROLS WITH THE BUTTONS FOR TURNSIGNALS. THE WHOLE BIKE IS DONE IN LED LIGHTS, HEADLIGHT, TAILIGHT, RUNNING LIGHTS ANS TURNSIGNALS. THEY ARE VERY BRIGHT. THE FORWARDS ARE BLACK AND CHROME TOO WITH MATCHING FOOT PEGS AND HAND CONTROLS. THE TANKS ARE STOCK HARLEY SPLIT TANKS AND HAS A CUSTOM LEATHER DASH. I USED A DIGITAL SPEEDO ON THE BIKE. WRAPPING IT UP WITH A SPRING SEAT. THE BIKE RIDES AND HANDLES GREAT WITH NO ISSUES. IT IS VERY BALANCED AND EASY TO RIDE. THE CHROME OIL TANK HAS A SMALL DING IN IT AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES. NOT ALL OF THE PARTS TO BUILD THE BIKE WERE NEW I HAD COLLECTED PARTS FOE AWHILE . NOT SURE ON THE ACTUAL MILES ON THE ENGINE THE BIKE HAS ABOUT 600 ON IT SINCE IT WAS BUILT THIS YEAR. IT IS NOT PERFECT IT HAS BEEN RIDDEN AS WHAT IT WAS BUILT FOR. IT IS A GOOD LOOKING BIKE THAT ALWAYS DRAWS A CROWD. ANY QUESTIONS EMAIL ME AND I WILL GET BACK TO YOU. Steve McQueen’s Von Dutch Customized Bikes to be Auctioned Tomorrow
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Here’s an opportunity to own motorcycles associated with Steve McQueen and Von Dutch - need we say more? Get your credit cards out because tomorrow, January 9, 2014, will see a 1923 Indian Big Chief with Princess Sidecar owned by McQueen and fully restored by Von Dutch put on the auction block at the Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction. Previously sold at the Steve McQueen Estate Sale in Las Vegas in 1984, the 74cu (1200cc) Indian is “capable of reaching speeds of 90mph.” If McQueen’s coolness factor isn’t enough, having the notoriety of Von Dutch’s restoration is the icing on the cake.
The Harbortown Bobber DVD Review
Fri, 22 Jan 2010On the surface, The Harbortown Bobber by One World Studios Ltd. is a documentary about the build/restoration of a bobber bike owned by Scott Di Lalla, co-founder of One World, and co-producer/co-director of Harbortown. However, what I took away from the 75-minute DVD was that the film is less about the skeletal remains of a ’69/’71 Triumph rising from the ashes, and more about the people (characters in a film for sure!) that help Scott along the way to realizing his dream of breathing life into a bobber of his own.

The Calendar Show relocates this year to the beautiful green event lawn of the exclusive Malibu Golf Course, located at 901 Encinal Canyon Road.
