Super Clean 1971 Shovel. The motor has 1800 Miles on it since it was professionally built by Tommy Bubel  @ RED Racing in Boca Raton Florida. Upgraded with, CV Carb, S&S Heads, 80" Wheels & Cylinders, Points ignition. Upgraded to disk brakes front and back. Very nice Orange and Cream Paint. There are a few small chips. Matching saddle bags with mounting brackets. 50% Life left in the tires. The neck has been molded with a slight rake. The bike always starts on the first or second kick. There is plenty of power and she is geared to cruise nicely on the highway at 65-70 MPH. The electric starter is currently disconnected because the jack shaft was sticking. Clean Clear Florida Title. Harley-Davidson Reports Q3 2011 Results

As expected, Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $183.6 million over the third quarter ended Sept. 25, 2011, a 106% increase from the $88.8 million reported in the same quarter of 2010. Harley-Davidson reported sales revenue of $1.23 billion, a 13.4% increase from the $1.09 billion reported in the same quarter of 2010.

Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010

Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010,  according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.

Harley-Davidson has revealed a new member to its Dyna family featuring quick change convertibility from touring to cruiser mode. As we expected, the new Harley-Davidson Dyna Switchback features hard saddlebags and fork-mounted windshield that can be removed quickly and without tools, allowing it to change from a touring motorcycle to a cruiser, and back again. The Dyna Switchback uses Harley-Davidson’s Twin Cam 103 engine, 2-into-1 chrome exhaust, and five-spoke cast aluminum wheels with full fenders.
