1952 Harley Davidson CAPTAIN AMERICA.
OK not quite the iconic movie machine but it sure gets a lot of thumbs up going down the road. This bike looks great leading a Memorial Day, 4th of July or Veterans day parade. Stock panhead and 4 speed transmission, M74 linkert carb, mouse trap clutch and drum brake. 8750 miles since engine rebuild. To my knowledge---Original Harley wish bone frame, and Springer front end. (As old bike stories go, this bike was chopped in the late 60's or early 70's in California.The front fork is original with early Ford torsion bars welded on. Custom made exhaust and pan covers) A few upgrades, 12 volt electrical system, POWER ARC Electronic Ignition, and PRIMO primary belt drive There are a couple of chips in the paint on the fuel tank as you can see in the photos. Also a couple chips in the chrome on the custom built springer front end, (see photo). Overall a very clean bike for it's age Have an old school king/queen seat and other styles of handlebars and shotgun exhaust to go with the bike. Presented at the 2013 Daytona Bike Week, the 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout offers a similar low and muscular profile as the CVO version but at prices starting at $17,899 compared to the premium model’s $26,999 price point. Tom Roderick reviewed the 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout last August, saying it “continues the tradition of exclusivity, performance and style customers have come to expect from Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations.” But take away the premium CVO features and what do you have?

In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.
