1975 CB750K5 SOHC *THE ORIGINAL SUPERBIKE* for sale Less than 2000 miles!! Clean Title Up to date on inspection Full upgrade/mechanic history provided Front/top end completely overhauled at the beginning of the summer. All brand new parts completely cleaned up. We, aka my mechanic specializing in rebuilding/servicing classic motor-works, literally took it all apart replaced most of the parts. We even cut down the fenders into a more bobby, "cafe" aesthetic.Brand new charging system working in tip-top condition. Thats a new battery, new rotor, new alternator, new stator, spark plugs redone, and also all wires/fuses completely redone. Aftermarket Headlight/tailight/turn signals/hazards all "cafe racer" style. All new bulbs recently placed.Currently has an aftermarket speedometer in the photos, but can provide the original OEM speedometer/odometer combo. Understand that 1975 bikes of this model are extremely rare, and at under 2,000 miles its basically nowhere to be found. On top of that, half a year’s worth of consistent love and labor have gone into making it as good as any bike on the road today. Asking price is $7,000 but i'm very open to negotiation. I'm not riding at all nowadays, so I'd like to give it to someone who will. It's an awesome bike at any level. Although the weight's a bit heavy if this is your very first time ever riding a motorcycle, this is THE bike that will turn you into a rider.Note in the pictures that i removed one of the side covers, just so you can get a look at the charging system. Stoner Blows Away Competition on Final Day of MotoGP Sepang Test
Thu, 02 Feb 2012To be the man, you have to beat the man, and after the final day of MotoGP’s pre-season test in Malaysia, Repsol Honda‘s Casey Stoner continues to be the man. The reigning MotoGP World Champion didn’t let lingering soreness from the back problems that sidelined him for the first day of testing at Sepang slow him down. On just his second of 21 laps on the final day, Stoner set a blistering lap time of 1:59.607, besting second-fastest rider Jorge Lorenzo by 0.591 seconds.While there’s still some room for improvement to be found his Honda RC213V, Stoner will turn things over to the engineers and fly back home to Switzerland to his wife Adriana for the birth of their first child.

Sun, 03 Apr 2011So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster). The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.

The version ready for the 2008-09 Honda CBR1000RR is claimed to be three pounds lighter than stock and offers a big bump in midrange power. Most importantly to the greenies, however, is that it produces fewer emissions than other performance mufflers.
