A friend of mine kept it in his garage for the last two years, and sold it to me to help get his business started. I only had to tinker with it a bit to get it going again, and now its ready to drive out of here! The work on the bike is all very fresh, with no more than 100 miles on any of it. This includes: -Rebuilt and bored from 900cc to 985cc with Wiseco K985 67.5mm pistons, rings, and pins -New clutch basket and plates -New exhaust with Vance and Hines 4-into-1 -New coils -New chain and sprocket -New tires -Forks rebuilt -Carburetor rebuild including cleaning, rejetting (for overbore), and tuning -Repainted tank, forks, side covers, pretty much the whole thing Between the new exhaust and overbore this bike is faster and more powerful than its counterparts, and rides smooth and easy. I would keep it but I already have another older project bike and don't need two hanging around. Shipping ======================================================================== -Buyer is responsible for local pickup at Fort Benning, Georgia. -A pass to get on base can be acquired from the visitor's center outside of the main gate (the I-185 gate) and requires a valid drivers licence or ID for all occupants in the vehicle. -Motorcycle runs great and may be driven after purchase, or you can trailer it if you want. Honda to Produce MotoGP-Derived V4 Superbike
Fri, 21 Sep 2012Honda Chief Executive Officer Takanobu Ito announced plans to produce a new super sports bike derived from its RC213V MotoGP race bike. A V4 Honda sportsbike has long been rumored to be in development but it finally appears the project is getting the green light. Speaking about Honda’s plans for the next five years, Ito confirmed the sportbike is on its way, using technology from the company’s successful MotoGP program.

Mon, 28 Feb 2011As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment. I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
Honda CBR250R Challenge Series Announced for 2012 Canadian Superbike Season
Mon, 19 Dec 2011Honda Canada has officially announced a new racing series featuring its CBR250R entry-level sportbike, to be held at 2012 Canadian Superbike racing events. The new Honda CBR250R Challenge series replaces the previous CBR125R spec series and will include a double-header at each CSBK National race weekend. The series is open to riders 15-25, though riders as young as 13 may be eligible if they have competed in at least three sanctioned CBR125R events.
