Honda Fury description

This 2011 Honda Fury has been my pride and joy for over two years now. It has fewer than 4,500 miles on it, which is probably less than the complements it has received. This is a tastefully modified Fury.

It has been modified by professionals, with professional parts. A 'Low and Mean' rear spring sits the rear down a little, while a matching front fork extension stretches the front wheel out an extra three inches, creating a stance Honda should have gone with from the factory. A set of custom side mirrors help the bike's lines flow more fluidly, perfectly complementing the aggressive Cobra Swept exhaust. Custom baffles were installed in the exhaust to further add to the head-turning sound the beast deserves. Three different sets of baffles were tried before the perfect balance of sound and torque were found. This bike sounds amazing, and performs even better.

The entire drivetrain is stock, and the bike is still running the OEM tires, with over 80% tread remaining. Mechanically, this bike is flawless. Cosmetically, it only has 4500 miles worth of wear. Yes, micro-scratches may exist in the paint, or road-grime may exist in the cooling fins of the motor's block, but I would still give the bike a 9.9/10.

I have a clear title in-hand.

Here is a video walk-around of the bike:  http://youtu.be/iMfce44GMZg

Overall, this is a very clean, very eye-catching cruiser. Please, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Bonus!  If the bike is purchased using Buy-It-Now, I will throw in ALL of my riding gear.  That includes three very clean helmets (one female), a riding jacket, two sets of goggles, and gloves.

Next year I will likely be stationed overseas.  This bike needs to find a new home ASAP, as I cannot take it with me.  Happy bidding!

WSBK: 2012 Brno Results

Mon, 23 Jul 2012

Marco Melandri bit a chunk off of Max Biaggi‘s World Superbike championship points lead by taking a pair of wins at Brno. The double was the first in Melandri’s career and the first for BMW. Biaggi, who arrived in the Czech Republic with four wins and nine podium finishes in ten previous races at Brno, was held off the podium this year, shrinking his lead in the championship to 21 points from 48.

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
