gas tank (3.5 gal) upgraded from original 2gal, new fenders and side covers, new headlight and new kiryaken iso grips. Also included are the saddle bags and few others as well. Has 17,400 miles on it and runs excellent. Never had any problems.Gets around 80mpg depending on type of riding, sometimes more and sometimes less. Excellent bike for beginner. Back in the day, the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba
Fri, 24 Jun 2011This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.
Honda NC700X Recall Expands to US

The recall announcement comes a week after the NC700X and the NC700S were recalled in Canada. As with the Transport Canada recall, the problem is a lack of proper heat treatment on the Honda NC700X’s drive chain.
Maverick Vinales Quits Blusens Avintia Moto3 Team
Fri, 19 Oct 2012Maverick Vinales seems to be living up to his name, announcing he is leaving the Blusens Avintia team despite sitting second in the Moto3 World Championship with three rounds to go. Vinales traveled with the team to Sepang for the upcoming Malaysian Grand Prix but did not take part in Free Practice and later announced the split. You may remember Vinales from last season when he raced in the former 125cc Grand Prix World Championship for the Paris Hilton-sponsored Blusens-BQR team.
