Specs and Features The focal point of the Honda VTX 1800 is, obviously, its engine: a liquid-cooled 1795cc V-twin. This provides a quarter-mile acceleration of 12.3 seconds, crossing the line at 105.5mph. An engine this powerful deserved some new brakes and throttle, so Honda updated its linking brake feature and improved the throttle with its Programmed Fuel Injection system. And in the interest of keeping this 758 pound (weight with a full 4.5-gallon tank) behemoth civil, the VTX1800N is wonderfully comfortable to sit on and very manageable in traffic. Yesterday, Dani Pedrosa was the quickest 1000 on his Honda RC213V setting a time of 1:32.186. To find the quickest time from the outgoing 800 era you have to look at his current Repsol Honda team-mate, Casey Stoner, but it wasn't set on a Honda.
Honda CBR250R Sticking Around for 2014, Getting Facelift to Match New CBR300R

The assumption was the 286cc CBR300R would replace the CBR250R as Honda’s entry-level sportbike. The CBR250R isn’t completely disappearing however, as Honda announced the 2014 version will be appearing at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, Nov.
