For starters this was the first year of production of the ZX12R. They produced 1000's of green bikes but only 450 red. As of 2 years ago US DMV records showed only 9 red as being registered. That being said along with being a one owner bike showroom kept with only 2800 miles and all the extras mentioned in the listing I would say its RARE.

 I am listing this for an adult friend of mine . He has been a professional auto and motorcycle tech for over 45 years. Please refer ALL questions to him as I know very little about this RARE bike other than it is IMMACULATE. This is what I do know. It was purchased by him New 1n 2000 and has only 2814 miles. The motor is stock and has not been tampered with other than exhaust and a power commander. The 6"extended swingarm was custom fabricated by him.The wheels, swingarm, and other parts were chromed.The sprockets were replaced with anodized and chain was replaced with a heavy duty gold replacement. A high performance air shifter was added. Please do your Kawasaki homework as this is no run of the mill bike. Isle of Man TT 2012: Sidecar TT Race 1 Results

Dave Molyneux won his 15th career Isle of Man TT race with a victory in the first Sure Sidecar TT race of the 2012 festival. The win comes in Molyneux’s return to the Isle of Man TT after sitting out last year’s competition. By far the most successful Sidecar racer in TT history Molyneux is third overall among riders in any class, behind Joey Dunlop (26) and John McGuinness (18).

2014 WSBK – Laguna Seca Results

Marco Melandri rebounded from last week’s disappointing Portimao round to win Race One at Laguna Seca while Tom Sykes extended his championship lead with a win in a red-flagged Race Two. Melandri got taken out of the second Portimao race after his Aprilia teammate Sylvain Guintoli slid into his RSV4. Melandri looked eager to make up for that DNF, leading every lap of Race One on his way to his third win of the season.

Kawasaki has had a great 30th anniversary so far for its Ninja line of models. To date, the highlights have included Jeremy Toye’s triumph at Pikes Peak, Tom Sykes leading the World Superbike Championship and the release of the 2015 Ninja ZX-14R 30th Anniversary Limited Edition. The celebrations haven’t finished yet, and the next milestone will be an assault on Bonneville Speed Week (August 9-15, 2014) in an attempt to set a new Land Speed Record at the famous Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. The 2015 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R has been entered by catalytic converter specialist, ACAT Global, with the aim of proving its motorcycle products in the most challenging conditions.
