Moto Guzzi Ambassador description

This motorcycle was being rebuilt by a good friend of mine. He put a lot of
Parts in it. These parts have been replaced: throttle cable, brake cable, clutch cable, choke cable, brake shoes on front and back, two wheel bearings, seals, carb kits, regulator, headlight, valves and guides, pistons and cylinders are new, rods have been bushed and resized. Low mileage crankshaft was installed, new crank bearings and rods, crankshaft seals, clutch disc, clutch springs, transmission seals, ujoint, points and condenser, rotor and cap, and plug wires. Tires and tubes, air cleaner element,
It was put together and was being ridden. Runs good, shifts good, stops good,
Was going to be painted and chromed but the friend passed away. I have 4 Guzzis. This needs someone that will ride it. Factory floor boards, left side shift, down for first. An all around good start. This bike could be made up nice.

Wed, 18 May 2011

This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.
