Everything has been gone through to ensure it's running and driving well. - carbs professionally rebuilt, runs perfectly - oil + filter changed less than 100 miles ago - new brake fluid - new clutch cable - new tires - wheel spokes in great condition, no rust - Chrome parts are shiny and rust free - electric starter AND kickstarter I have a box full of parts that will go with the bike. Suzuki Reports Q2 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 15 Nov 2011Suzuki reported its second consecutive profitable quarter from its motorcycle division, following 11 consecutive quarters in the red. For the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011, Suzuki raked in 62.3 billion yen (US$808.5 million) from motorcycle sales, compared to the 61.4 billion yen (US$796.8 billion) reported in the same period last year.
US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
2013 Yoshimura Limited Edition GSX-Rs
Mon, 10 Jun 2013A recent visit to the Yoshimura facility in Chino, CA, provided us an in-person peak at the company’s 2013 limited edition GSX-R. The burgundy red and black with metal flake and gold pin striping color scheme is both striking and sophisticated while subtle details such as the Yoshimura radiator stencil heighten its visual appeal. And these bikes are seriously limited – only 45 examples will be produced. Introduced last year Yoshimura says the response from Suzuki dealers and consumers alike has been nothing short of phenomenal. The 45 bikes produced this year will be a combination of 600, 750 and 1000cc models and the mix determined by dealer demand.
