Suzuki GS description

The 1982 Suzuki GS1100E was the first stock motorcycle to break the 10 second quarter mile barrier. One of the most famous bikes of all times. This examples has only 16,700 miles and has had some performance upgrades aimed at street and strip. Never raced, only mild street use. Over $4500 in upgrades were done: Wiseco big bore kit, welded crank, new carb manifolds and Mikuni flat slides carbs, carb tuning,  MRE Lockup clutch, custom paint and graphics, chain & sprockets, seat redone, new battery, pipe and much more. The pipe currently does not have a baffle but one can easily be obtained. Its a bit loud for street without the baffle and would gain some low end power. The bike starts pulling strong at around 4000 RPM and goes crazy from 5000 on up.  I HAVE A NEW IN BOX VANCE AND HEINZ PIPE THAT WILL GO WITH IT IF THE BIDDING HITS $3200.  I don't want to sell this bike but I need to clear up some medical bills. My price is much lower than the upgrades cost without the cost of the bike. If someone spent some time polishing the aluminum it would be a show stopper. I noticed when working on the bike that the rear tire has some cracking on the sidewall.  The sending unit for the gas tank is currently not working. $500 Paypal deposit within 24 hours, full payment in 3 days. I will accept USPS Money Orders or Cashiers Check for the balance. I will send the title Certified Mail when all payments have cleared, I can store the bike waiting for pickup, I can also help with transport, I used to be in that business. I have had great success by listing on Uship and having the carriers bid against each other (that means lower prices) to be able to get the job. Call me (Jim) at 801-669-3900 for more information.
