Mon, 14 Nov 2011Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points. Craigslist Motorcycle Rip-Off
Thu, 12 Feb 2009Eduardo S. Cordero III, 22, allegedly robbed three Sierra Vista men at gunpoint in Tucson. Cordero advertised a Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle that evidently didn’t exist, on Craigslist for $4,000 and lured the buyers in by taking $500 off the listed price.
Suzuki to Join MotoGP Test at Catalunya
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Suzuki plans to take part in the mid-June MotoGP test at Spain’s Catalunya circuit. If all goes according to plan, the June 17 test, which follows the sixth round of the 2013 MotoGP season, will mark the first time a Suzuki MotoGP bike has shared the track with the prototypes from rival manufacturers Ducati, Honda and Yamaha since 2011. When Suzuki announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing in 2011, the Japanese manufacturer said it planned to return for the 2014 season.
