Well set up and maintained adventure bike, owned from 600 miles since 2008 by a well known and respected world traveler, active in the vintage & modern racing community and various enthusiast groups.  He set this bike up with all the accessories that you see in these photos.  The bike was only driven in North America and left in various locations for him to return to when it was time to move on. It's a beautiful bike with only a couple of small cracks on the tank fairing (fixable with plastic weld) and a scuff on the left hand crash bar from a tip over.

    This is a 2002 Suzuki  TL1000r.  I am the second owner.  The bike is in excellent condition.  The bike has never been raced, abused. lowered,  baked in the sun , drilled or  modified.  This is most likely the most original TL100rr V Twin you can find.  The bike does have scratches on the right muffler but everyone changes these and there are several set of oem mufflers on ebay very cheap.    The TL1000r has less then 5300 miles,  yes 5300 miles .

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

Virginia Tech Bolt To Race At NJMP, July 12-13

The Virginia Tech Bolt e-bike racing team will compete in the July 12-13 zero emissions road race at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville NJ. This race is part of the eMotoRacing series, which runs in conjunction with AHRMA. The 96 volt student-built prototype racebike will compete in the eSuperSport class against a field of production based Brammo Empulses. The Bolt Team is no stranger to competition, as it has previous experience racing in the TTXGP series in 2012.

Former 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz recently visited Japan to take part in the official test for the 2014 Coca-Cola Zero Suzuka 8-Hours. Schwantz, who last year finished third at Suzuka riding for Team Kagayama, is part of the Yoshimura Suzuki Shell Advance Legend Racing Team and will ride alongside his 1986 Suzuka 8-Hour partner Satoshi Tsujimoto and Suzuki Moto GP test rider Nobuatsu Aoki. The positive test was from the April 12 AMA Supercross round in Seattle. The three podium finishes in the 450 class in Seattle were tested.
