Triumph Bonneville description

Excellent overall condition.

>Starts 1 or 2 kicks, idles, pulls strong.

>Oil tight, road safe, everything works.

>Service and repair during 2015:

1. All new upper end gaskets and seals.

2. New steering head bearings.

3. New Continental Classic Attack Tires (2016)

4. New clutch plates, clutch cable.

5. New electronic ignition.

6. New Bing carburetor diaphragms.

7. New seat (old original is available).

8. Rebuilt brake master cylinders.

9. New fork seals.

10. New fuel lines and filters.

11. New tank paint.

>Modifications:

1. Defective electric starter removed. I still have it along with the large right hand engine cover, but after three unsuccessful attempts at repair, the conversion to kick only was made.

2. Air filter side covers enlarged to accommodate foam air filters.

3. Previous owner gutted mufflers. Exterior is original, but baffles are gone. Sound is good and not offensive.

This bike has been gone through this year and is mechanically sound. Lack of time and interest is the reason for wanting to sell the bike. I have a clear South Carolina title.

Natural Habitats

Sat, 26 Jan 2013

SAM Christmas has been a professional photographer for the last 3 years and is the man behind Natural Habitats, a collection of photos covering the growing UK custom scene, showing bikes and their builders at home.    Sam's clients include the likes of Honda, Dainese, Google, Polo Jeans and Edwin denim but Natural Habitats is a personal project that took one and a half years to complete. I got to meet Sam when the exhibition opened in Shoreditch on Thursday evening.

Not a fake police biker

Fri, 03 Aug 2012

So yesterday I was threading my way through London on Triumph's Tiger Explorer 1200 with panniers. Quite a wide load. Up ahead, I see a police biker and reckon on him being able to part the traffic enough for me to have an easier run down by the river.

Vintage Bike Stash Found in Ohio

Mon, 05 Mar 2012

Brim’s Imports is a vintage motorcycle shop disguised as a used car dealership, and chances are you’ve never heard of the place or its proprietor, Tom Brim. If you’re in the market for a rare vintage motorcycle, however, it may behoove you to give Tom or his brother, Ralph, an old fashion phone call. A website does exist, brimsimport.com, but its for searching the inventory of late model car and truck parts — the cash flow supporting Tom’s motorcycle obsession.
