Triumph Bonneville description

Beautiful Bonnie T100 in showroom condition. Regular maintenance. Recent service including valve adjustment, steering head bearing adjustment, fresh brake and fork fluids. Avon Road Rider tires, vintage style saddle from Burton Bike Bits in England - more comfortable than stock and looks more like the original. Ikon (Koni) Thruxton shocks, Norman Hyde M handlebars, Vintage style barrel grips, chrome bar end mirrors, chrome cam covers, flyscreen, foam air filter, British Customs Predator exhaust & re-jetted, Monza style fuel filler, rear fender slightly bobbed, mini turn signals, factory center stand. Also comes with Haynes manual and most take-offs. Always garaged & kept on battery tender. Ridden regularly. Absolutely no cosmetic or mechanical issues. Easy maintenance. Never down. Ready to ride anywhere. Too many bikes so time to cut this one loose. I hate to see it go but need the garage space.

New Stuff: Bridgestone Battlax Racing R10s

Fri, 23 Sep 2011

...stickier than a Weatherspoons floor on a Friday night. Well that’s not exactly an official Bridgestone technical term but no matter which way you look at it the brand new Battlax Racing R10 tyre is a ‘Road legal’ Supersport/Superstock race tyre. It’s used as the control tyre for the Aprillia RRV450 race series.

New Stuff: Bridgestone BT-016 Pro's

Thu, 24 Mar 2011

Well it was inevitable really, the gloriously sticky and not very durable Metzler Racetec K3's had seen their last mile on the Triumph. After being ripped through 2500 miles by the Speeds thumping 1050 Triple motor the rear had all but squared off. To replace them I’ve opted for Bridgestones new BT-16 Pro's because their previous incarnation had proved to offer supersport grip in the corners but also offer high mileage rates.

How well does a Triumph Tiger 800 crash?

Mon, 08 Nov 2010

I've just come back to the hotel after our first day riding the Tiger 800 with the other Brit journos. One of the journos (who shall remain nameless, but alas, it wasn't me) crashed at low speed. Pictured here is his bike.
