Triumph Tiger description

1973 TRIUMPH TIGER 750 TR7RV

I just purchased this Tiger from a gentleman who could unfortunately no longer enjoy the bike. Purchased in fair condition he did an overhaul around 2011. This overhaul included but not limited to complete engine rebuild, new Amal carb, fresh paint and new foam/seat cover. It does have a Boyer electronic ignition. While the bike is not original it is very nice restoration and would make a very clean rider quality bike. When the gentleman purchased the bike it was running rough as you can see by the discolored head pipes. This prompted him to do the overhaul. Once complete he never really rode the and it has been sitting for almost 6 years. As I said the overall condition is excellent as the paint is of high quality and all the chrome is in excellent condition. When I purchased the bike it did run but however it had a few issues which I had to address due to the prolonged period it sat. I installed a new battery. Adjusted the timing a little. New plugs and new oil. The bike now starts easy and idles nicely. During the initial test ride the clutch slipped badly so I have installed new fibers (the hd Harley style), new steel plates and new stock springs. The tires are in excellent condition with no rot and plenty of tread. All the gauges, lights and controls work properly. I have taken the bike on a short reliability run and the engine, clutch and gearbox all work and sound as it should.

The odometer shows 6K miles. I have no way of verifying this so because of age the title will read EXEMPT from mileage. It comes with a clean Pennsylvania title.
