2013 FIM eRoadRacing World Cup Laguna Seca Results

Eric Bostrom took the victory in a crash-filled race at Laguna Seca to open the U.S. leg of the 2013 FIM eRoadRacing World Cup. Three out of eight racers crashed out on the first of nine laps while pole qualifier Shane Turpin retired with a mechanical breakdown on the penultimate lap.

The official announcement says the new division “maximizes cohesive and strategic growth for Victory Motorcycles and other on-road products and brands”. EBR 1190 Wins 2011 European Superbike Championship

Harald Kitsch and the Pegasus Race Team has won its second championship on the EBR 1190RR, capturing the 2011 European Superbike open race class title. The championship follows Kitsch’s win in the 2010 Sound of Thunder V-Twin Championship on the Erik Buell Racing racebike. While the Sound of Thunder championship was won against other V-Twin machines, the European Superbike class included sportbikes from the Japanese Big Four, BMW, Aprilia and Ducati.
