Yamaha FZ tech info
Yamaha FZ description
The Fz6 is a middleweight sport bike designed around the YZF-R6 engine that has been retuned for more usable midrange power. It is a great multipurpose bike because of its more upright seating position and ability to tackle sport riding, touring, and commuting. This bike is in great condition with normal wear and some scratches on plastic. Also has a 1 inch wide defect in plastic where tie down straps were connected to handlebars and rubbed the fairing. I have owned the bike since 2010 and it has been garage kept. Mostly stock but has the following upgrades: Heated grips, tank protector, tank knee grips, Puig windshield, high flow air filter, cruise control bar ends, upgraded chain and recently replace front and rear sprockets. Also has a new front tire and back tire in good condition. Battery is weak which could be due to lack of being ridden. Contact me if you have any questions.

Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
Yamaha R1 rider lowsides on left-hander
Tue, 23 Mar 2010THIS GUY'S lucky he doesn't get flicked over the top, after losing the back end of his Yamaha YZF-R1 on a twisty section of mountain road. He looks pretty miffed at the result; we think he got away lightly. It could have been soooo much worse if the rear tyre had gripped and lobbed the rider over the top.
