Up for auction is a great looking 2009 Yamaha V Max.  This bike was sold new through our dealership where we also performed all of the routine maintenance on it as well.  This V Max is in excellent shape and has never been wrecked, laid down, or scratched.  Customer installed a $1,350 Akrapovic slip-on exhaust.  I also have the stock exhaust that will go to the winner of this auction as well.  Also included is the plaque that was given to each customer that purchased this limited run of first year V Max bikes.  This particular machine was #815 of the 2500 that were produced.  Buyer is more than welcome to pick up this beautiful bike at our dealership in North Texas, or it can also be shipped.  Buyer is repsonsible for all shipping charges.  Buyer will also be responsible for a 50.00 DOC fee as well as a State of Texas VIT.  VIT is figured at .03495 (Winning bid x .03495 = VIT)  This is charged to all buyers regardless of the state they reside in.  If buyer does live in Texas, buyer will also be responsible for sales tax of 6.25% + Registration.  A 500 deposit is required within 24 hours of auctions end.  Full payment within 7 days.  Payment to be made in the form of Cash or Cashiers Check.

2014 Yamaha MT-09 Three-Cylinder Street Bike Announced for Europe – to be Named FZ-09 in US

A couple of weeks ago, Yamaha Europe released a video called “Dark Side of Japan” teasing a new street bike it claimed would “change the sport motorcycle world.” Today, the company revealed its new model, introducing a new naked sportbike powered by a “Crossplane” three-cylinder engine called the MT-09. (EDIT: and we can now reveal that the North American version will be known as the Yamaha FZ-09.) The 2014 Yamaha MT-09 is powered by a new 847cc three-cylinder engine first teased at Intermot last year. According to Yamaha, the MT-09′s engine produces 113.4 hp at 10,000 rpm and 64.5 ft-lb.
