Yamaha XS description

Up for bid is my 1979 XS11. New paint last year. Very clean and runs and shifts well. Currently has pod filters on , stock air box comes with it. It would run even better with stock air box on because the pods restrict the air flow and cause a problem at full throttle. If your familiar with the bike you know they put out good HP. I put a new tire on the front 3 years ago and the back looks ok. It has not been plated since I added to my collection in march 2010. Nice older performance touring bike. Thanks for looking. AMA Supercross: 2012 Phoenix Results

Ryan Dungey gave KTM its first ever AMA Supercross win, taking the holeshot and leading every lap in Phoenix, Ariz. With an audience of 49,236 watching at Chase Field, it was the field that had to chase Dungey during the main event. Dungey jumped out in front at the first corner followed by JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps and defending AMA Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto of Kawasaki.

2014 Yamaha Zuma X Announced for Canada

Yamaha Motor Canada announced a new variant of the 50cc Zuma scooter. New for 2014, the Yamaha Zuma X is based on the popular Zuma 50F but with some minor styling changes. The nomenclature is a bit curious.

2011 World Supersport Champion Chaz Davies

Chaz Davies has captured the 2011 Supersport World Championship, completing a triumphant return to the series for Yamaha. Davies, the 2008 Daytona 200 winner, finished the Magny-Cours round in sixth place, giving him an insurmountable 35-point lead over Hannspree Ten Kate Honda‘s Fabien Foret with one race remaining. The championship comes in Yamaha‘s return from a one-year absence from the series.
