Yamaha XS description

Bike was built from a clean 8800 mile 1980 xs.TC bros. hardtail,Pamco electronic ign.,XS charge pma conversion,Mikuni round slide carbs with uni pod filters.New sportster tank .TC bros ridged rear fender,both painted with House of Colors ultra orange pearl.Has tapered neck bearings,new wheel bearings ,clutch pushrod seal replaced.New gold chain,new  front and rear brake pads.Bike was completely gone through and everything that needed replacing was and problem areas of the xs updated.Starts on 1or2 kicks cold and like half a kick when warm.Pipes were made from stock headpipes cut off and heat wrapped.Custom welded on sidemount liscence plate holder with old school tail light,wiring ran thru frame.The electric starter is on bike,just not wired in.Gel battery.Valves and timing chain adjusted.

Yamaha Planning Sub-$500 Model to Undercut Honda Dream Yuga

Not long after Honda launched its ultra low-cost Dream Yuga in India, Yamaha announced it is considering a new own model that will be nearly 40% cheaper. The 109cc Dream Yuga is Honda‘s latest weapon in the battle for India’s 13-million unit per year motorcycle market. Priced at 44,642 Indian rupees (US$806), the Dream Yuga is the most affordable Honda model available in India.

MotoGP Axes Claiming Rule and Adjusts Moto2 Engine Swap Fees

The International Motorcycling Federation‘s Grand Prix Commission officially annulled MotoGP‘s Claiming Rule. Effective immediately, teams using the official spec Magneti Marelli ECU hardware and software are exempt from having their engines claimed. Starting in the 2014 season however, the claiming rule will be cancelled completely.
