Yamaha 750xs Triple on 2040motos
Yamaha XS description
For Sale is my 1978 Yamaha 750XS Triple. I am the second owner of this bike and have owned it for 20 years. The other owner was my Godfather and I inherited from him. This bike is the definition of what these bikes did and can still do. This bike rides perfect and has no issues, none. I don't ride it often enough and I want it to see the bike go to a deserving home. Everything works as it should on this bike and runs strong and idles nicely. I also have if interested is the matching fairing and hard saddle bags and sissy bar. The bike looks so much nicer the way it is set up now but I can include those items if interested. I just had my bike shop go through it and everything is safe and ready to go. Has a new front tire and the back is practically new and great tread too.
The only issue is there is a small chip in the paint by the gas tank. It can easily be touched up but the bike is so perfect, I wanted to leave it the way it is.

Yamaha confirmed it plans to introduce a new Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) vehicle for 2014. An accompanying image of a test unit in camouflage reveals two closely-aligned front wheels beneath a broad fairing. The new model will be a three-wheeler similar to Piaggio‘s MP3 scooter instead of the four wheels like the Tesseract concept (pictured further below) first introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.Mon, 21 Jan 2013
Cyril Despres won his fifth career Dakar Rally while helping KTM win for the 12th consecutive time, in taking the motorcycle class in the 2013 edition of the famed off-road race. KTM was again the dominant manufacturer with the top five finishers in the motorcycle class riding motorcycles from the Austrian manufacturer. Despres finished with an overall time of 43:24:22 for the win, including a 15-minute penalty for swapping an engine after the one he was using in his KTM 450 Rallye failed.Wed, 15 Sep 2010
This picture of me chasing Foggy on the Daytona banking in 1991 brought back some bitter sweet memories recently. I did half a season as his team mate on the Silkolene RC30s before scurrying off to Japan to ride a factory Yamaha Superbike. I’ve never been a quitter but I felt the team that year was gear stretched running two riders so it was a case of last in first out.
