I bought this bike on eBay in June of 2014 and rode it to my garage which is a mile from my dealership. Had to have it. Well I have never ridden it since. I have 17 motorcycles and by year end I will have none! I want one new BMW R1200GSA which I will purchase when they are all gone. So this bike was just serviced at the Beemer Barn in Johnson Creek NY. They are our local BMW experts and they have it ready to go. A new battery was installed as well. The pictures tell the story. Bike is in nice condition but not pristine. It runs and rides like a Swiss watch. It is being sold as is....New York State safety inspected only. Please ask any and all questions before you bid/buy. All sales are final. This is a taxable transaction for New York residents. All others are subject to their own states taxes and or fees but NOT the New York tax. 2014 BMW R1200RT Spied Testing
Thu, 21 Mar 2013With the new 2013 BMW R1200GS now launching worldwide, it really should be no surprise BMW is working on more models using the GS’s new liquid-cooled boxer engine. A contributor to French site MotoMag happened upon a crew of test riders on heavily camouflaged test mules of what appears to be the 2014 BMW R1200RT. The swirly camo pattern does little to hide the new “precision cooling” liquid-cooled engine, easily identified by the pipes exiting from the bottom of the cylinders.
BMW C650GT Recalled in Canada for Loose Luggage Rack Fasteners
Mon, 27 May 2013Transport Canada announced a recall for the 2013 BMW C650GT scooter because of a problem with its accessory luggage rack mounting. On certain units, the fasteners which secure the luggage rack to the rear of the passenger grab rail may loosen over time. This may lead to the rack, and any cases attached to it, to fall off, potentially striking other vehicles, pedestrians or other objects.
BMW Reportedly Discussing Partnership with India’s TVS Motor
Mon, 09 Jul 2012BMW is reportedly in talks with TVS Motor to develop new motorcycles for India. A potential BMW-TVS partership would follow similar arrangements between Bajaj Auto and KTM and between Hero MotoCorp and Erik Buell Racing. The Wall Street Journal reports the two companies are discussing a possible technological alliance.
