I am offering for sale from my collection my 1980 Honda CBX with a MR Turbo turbocharger system. This bike was in dry storage for several years and was just re commissioned this spring. The Turbo was completly rebuilt with new seals and bearing,new chains and sprockets,new tires,alternator was rebuilt,new wheel bearings were installed.It is fitted with GSXR inverted forks and GSXR aluminum swing arm.Front brakes are Performance machine calipers.Rebuilt 42 MM Mikuni carburator. Freshly powdercoated GSXR wheels.Corbin seat.The engine is stock with the Turbo set at 5lbs of boost.The bike has less that 1000 miles with the turbo installed.The Turbo system had never been used prior to that .The header pipes are ceramic coated.The valve cover and alternator cover are chrome and there is some peeling.The paint is in very nice original condition however the front GSXR fender could use a repaint.The exhaust is lacking one of the heat shields.With the suspension upgrades this bike handles amazingly well. This bike is adult owned and has never been abused.

Shawn Higbee Wins On The Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2
Thu, 01 May 2014In only its second race appearance, the Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2 bike competed in the WERA F1 and B Superbike events on April 27th at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, run in conjunction with the first round of the GEICO Superbike Shootout, presented by Yamaha. During the F1 race, rider Shawn Higbee moved up to as high as 2nd place from a 5th row start on the Brough Superior TMRGP2 bike. The TMRGP2′s lightweight all carbon fiber chassis and 600cc Honda powerplant demonstrated impressive cornering speed on the tight infield sections but could not match the top speed of the heavily modified 1000cc F1 bikes on the long straights. On the last lap Higbee was shuffled back to 4th place at the finish line.
Honda Fury Special Edition Controversy?
Fri, 17 Jul 2009It seems the idea that there is a “special edition” Honda Fury has achieved urban-legend levels. Motorcycle.com recently spoke to Jon Seidel of American Honda to clarify some of the controversy generated in www.furyforums.com regarding a special edition Fury model. According to Seidel, no mention was ever made to the media during the Fury’s press unveiling or in any press material or at any other time, “that any Fury color or specific Fury model was a special edition.” Seidel stated that he also queried Honda’s product planning department about the existence of any special edition models and reported that no information had ever been released or implied from Honda Product Planning as to the existence of a Fury SE.
