1971 Triumph none matching numbers.It has a 1966 T120 motor with makuni carbs and boyer ignition. The motor was rebuilt in 1992 by RPM in San Jose CA, over 3,000 invested in the motor,the motor was in storage for years,so it has little to no miles.I did ride it around the block yesterday,and I do start it from time to time. All the wiring has been redone with a new gel battery on a battery tender.I have put many new parts on the bike like, RFY shocks,Renthal grips,tires and tubes,clubman bars, parts unlimited levers, throttle,custom leather seat and a hand made rear set.

'71 Triumph Bonneville (1971)
'71 Triumph Bonneville 650 with 13,600 original miles. The motor has never been apart. This not a ground-up restoration, but a good rider. The paint and the exhaust are not original. It has a Sparx electronic ignition, after-market coils, new turn indicators (repro),the clutch plates have been replaced, excellent tires, and the registration has just been paid (good until Nov. of 2014). It doesn't leak oil and starts on the first kick. It had a dent in the gas tank when I got it and when I parked it the side stand failed. Now it has two dents in the gas tank (pictured). Also, the center stand would rotate too far forward and barely hold the bike up. Those two issues have been repaired by Classic Cycles in the city of Orange, Ca. The bike runs great, sounds good, is fun to ride and, to the best of my knowledge, there is nothing wrong with it. Buyer must arrange all shipping. I will do what I can to help. This bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells elsewhere.

Bike comes with a clear Missouri title in the name of the former owner. He has signed the title...I have just not transferred the title to my name. As you can see in the photos, the model number and the VIN number of the frame match. They are both T120V CG51210. On the title, the model number and VIN number is T120RV CG51210. 1972 is the first year 5 speed transmissions were available. Bonneville's with a 4 speed transmission were T120R bikes, and those bikes with a 5 speed had a "V" at the end of the model number. This bike has the 5 speed transmission as indicated by the "V" in the model number/VIN number, and it works perfectly. The bike starts, idles, and runs good. I've literally had 25 too 30 Triumphs over my life and they have all leaked oil. If I ever had one that didn't, this is it. So, I will just say this bike is the most oil tight one I have ever had. Everything on the bike works....the headlight (both high & low beams), the 3 colored indicator lights in the headlight housing, the turn signals, the brake light (when activated by either the hand or foot), the tail light, the horn, the high beam flash button on the handlebar control, the kill switch button, the tach, and the speedometer. The needles on both the tach and the speedo move as smoothly as if they were new...something kind of unusual for old Smith/s gauges.

Nicely restored 1972 Triumph Bonneville for sale. Very nice, correctly functioning rider with no mechanical issues. With a good detailing the bike could easily be displayed in a museum setting, however it is not a perfect bike. Please know that even thought it has been restored, the bike is 45 years old. Serious buyers please study the photos in detail and ask any questions for anything that is not clear. Bike was restored about 6 years ago. Do not have any additional photos or documentation of the restoration. Comes with clear OH title branded ACTUAL 29,500 miles and is exactly what you see in the photos, nothing more, nothing less. It is in everyone's best interest for the buyer to clearly know what they are getting, so here is my best description of what I can see or understand about this bike: Positive Points: Very attractive style and very nice cosmetic condition Good mechanical condition, typically starts first kick and does not have any mechanical issues. Newer modern tires Numbers matching frame and engine Many other positive points can be seen in the photos Negative Points: Very small paint chip in white on lower tank (touched up, see photos) Some small dings in the mufflers (need to look very closely) Some minimal rust in some areas (look closely) that can likely be resolved with good detailing Bike is 45 years old!

I picked this bike up recently and thought that I might restore it and have since changed my mind due to not enough time.1 used 1973 triumph bonneville 750 rigid chopper as pictured.The bike is not running and may have parts and fasteners missing.Many parts are not fastened and are loosely set in place . The engine turns freely, there is no gas in it and I have not attempted to finish assembling it or try to start it.The gas tank is dry with a little light rust and cob webs, should clean up easily.I cannot guarantee the year and model as I don't know these bikes so the buyer will have to confirm what it is.Tires hold air but are old.The bike is numbers matching on the engine and frame.This bike will be sold as is with no guarantees or warranties with Bill of sale only.The bike is located in Canada and shipping will be arranged and paid by buyer.That being said I will assist with shipping on my end if I can.Ask questions if you like and I will try to answer them as best I can.The previous owner had stated that the chopper conversion was likely done in the 80's and that he had ridden the bike 5 years ago and ran good. More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

AMA Pro Racing announced plans to combine its Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes into a single category by the 2015 season. The two classes currently share many similarities including engine displacement regulations, minimum weight limits and eligible machines. The Supersport class has more restrictions on modifications and are limited to a maximum top speed of 165 mph while Daytona Sportbike machines are allowed to reach speeds up to 170 mph.

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, visited Britain’s largest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham. The visit saw the Duke astride numerous motorcycle models including UK icons Norton and Triumph as well as a Ducati 1199 Superleggera (one of the few men able to afford the $70,000 rarity). During his visit Prince William enjoyed a display of off-road riding – one of nine opportunities for visitors to ride at Motorcycle Live, eight of which are inside the halls of the NEC. He also met Dean Linehan, exhibitions director of MCI Exhibitions, the company that organizes the annual motorcycle exhibition.

Spy photographers have captured images of Triumph‘s upcoming 250cc sportbike. The new sportbike (we’re calling it the Daytona 250 until Triumph tells us otherwise) is one of two new 250cc single-cylinder models Triumph is designed primarily for India, where Triumph officially started operations this week. There is a very good chance however the Daytona 250 and its naked roadster sibling will be exported to other markets including here in the U.S.

With all the new motorcycles Triumph presented earlier this month at the 2013 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, we were hoping to see the company’s new 250cc models. Unfortunately, the new small-displacement Triumph models (which made our list of Top 10 Motorcycles to Watch For at EICMA) were not yet ready to be revealed, though Triumph did offer us a glimpse of what to expect, with a sketch of its 250 sportbike. At Milan, the company referred to the sportbike as “Triumph’s New 250″, though it will get a proper name when it’s officially, presented as a 2015 model, likely at next year’s EICMA show or at Intermot in Cologne, Germany.

Just as it did with its Thunderbird family, Triumph revealed a new bagger to its America cruiser line at the 2013 EICMA show. Follow the rest of our 2013 EICMA show coverage Originally revealed in CARB documents as the America Horizon, the Triumph America LT adds a deattachable windscreen, pillion backrest and leather saddlebags to turn the midsized America into a serviceable light tourer. The America LT is powered by the same air-cooled 865cc parallel-Twin with a 270-degree firing interval as the regular America and the Speedmaster cruisers. Performance numbers are the same, with Triumph claiming 60 hp at 6800 rpm and 53 ft-lb.
