         '71 Triumph Bonneville 650 with 13,600 original miles.  The motor has never been apart.  This not a ground-up restoration, but a good rider.  The paint and the exhaust are not original.  It has a Sparx electronic ignition, after-market coils, new turn indicators (repro),the clutch plates have been replaced, excellent tires, and the registration has just been paid (good until Nov. of 2014).  It doesn't leak oil and starts on the first kick.       It had a dent in the gas tank when I got it and when I parked it the side stand failed.  Now it has two dents in the gas tank (pictured).  Also, the center stand would rotate too far forward and barely hold the bike up.  Those two issues have been repaired by  Classic Cycles in the city of  Orange, Ca.      The bike runs great, sounds good, is fun to ride and, to the best of my knowledge, there is nothing wrong with it.       Buyer must arrange all shipping.  I will do what I can to help.  This bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells elsewhere.

The motor was rebuilt in 1992 by RPM in San Jose CA, over 3,000 invested in the motor,the motor was in storage for years,so it has little to no miles.I did ride it around the block yesterday,and I do start it from time to time.     The 1967 is the most desirable Triumph T120R Bonneville twin carb model of them all, [don't take my word for it ask the ''experts'' in your area], registered and title vin# DU444XX, MATCHING NUMBERS. COMPLETE MOTOR REBUILD on this motorbike, including Boyer brand electronic ignition, new bearings, oil pump, pistons and cylinders, black diamond valves and new springs, previous owner put new concentric AMAL carbs and new elements in original air filters so they are reinstalled and AVON brand tyres, I put a new 1967 only option grey top seat cover, Painted gloss black gas tank [by previous owner], hand painted tank emblems as per original, Stainless fenders, New gauges, Doherty cables, and all lights are in great working order. This bike is in excellent condition for riding and/or ready for full restoration, if riden it would need a 500 mile service done when needed, THIS MOTORBIKE HAS ONLY 31 MILES ON IT AND I WILL CONTINUE TO RIDE IT AROUND NOW AND AGAIN, this is why I put 100 miles on this listing, this motorbike runs real strong pulling through every gears flawlessly, and frankly I REALLY ENJOY RIDING "BLACKIE "AROUND, this bike is being offered locally as well, but I will be fair with all serious inquiries of this hard to find TRIUMPH Bonneville  MOTORBIKE.

    After three years and countless dollars, this beautiful custom motorcycle came to fruition.  I purchased the parts and pieces years ago, and after a three year build, It's everything I could have hoped for and more.  The frame is a 1966 Norton Atlas slimline featherbed frame.  The engine is a 1979 Triumph Bonneville T140E 750cc unit motor that has been completely gone through top to bottom.  The front end, Tokico calipers, and wheels are early GSX-R, the first year of inverted forks.  The rear brake caliper and disc is R6 while the rear Brembo master cylinder is Ducati.  The petrol tank, oil tank, and seat pan are aluminum, hand made in England by Unity Equipe.  The front fender is also hand made, all aluminum by a local craftsman.  The rear swing arm is believed to be Dresda.  Most of the fabrication work was performed by Kosman Specialties in CA with no expense spared.  The carburetors and electrical system, including harness is all new.  There is way too much detail to list in this ad.  I have owned many British bikes in my life but this is the easiest to start and the clutch feels butter smooth.  This Triton won first place in the cafe racer class at the Clubman Show in San Jose.  While it was there, it was invited to the prestigious Quail Motorsports Gathering in Monterrey, CA.  If you are serious about purchasing this bike, feel free to ask questions, if not, save us both some time.  It holds a clean CA title and is registered as a 1966 Norton.  The engine number on the title and engine is T140EKA12607.  She starts first or second kick every time.  I am willing to assist in shipping this bike wherever needed.  I am also willing to deliver the bike to you but that will need to be discussed and a price will need to be agreed upon well beforehand.  It's located in San Francisco, CA.  This bike has sat in my living room when not being used and has been very well cared for.

    1966 Triumph Bobber.  This motorcycle was meticulously hand built using only original period correct parts from the 60’s.  The bike was purpose built to be a running riding very reliable show bike that has been on the southern California show circuit for the last 10 years. This bike has received first place in every show that it has been entered into.  The motor is a 1966 T120 Thunderbird bottom end with a Bonneville head and 10.5 to one high compression pistons.  All engine components were cleaned and balanced or replaced. The ignition system is an original ARD belt drive system with an original Fairbanks Morris magneto with a custom one off fined belt cover (original Belt Cover Included).

The past two weekends have produced more than three inches of rain and sad news for Bonneville land speed racing fans.Triumph has released it official statement regarding the announcement by Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout that the course will not be ready for its Triumph Castrol Rocket streamliner and others to make a 2014 FIM legal attempt at 400mph. More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Deus Ex Machina, the surf/moto shop known for creating throwback, one-of-a-kind motorcycles, has released its latest work of art, the TT800. Paying tribute to the highly successful Triumph factory TT machines from the mid-1960s, Deus’ expert builder, Michael Woolaway, created the TT800 for a customer requesting a new, old Triumph. It sources a Kawasaki W650 bored out to 800cc with CR carbs, a custom TT inspired exhaust, custom chromoly racing frame, re-valved Öhlins forks, and a custom gusseted swing arm for more stability. A Beringer six-piston caliper front brake provides stopping power.
