Yamaha XS description

This bike is a 1978 Yamaha 750 Triple and is in good running condition. As you can see in the photos it looks very nice. It does have a problem with the turn signals not always working. It has passed inspection this year. I'm selling because I bought a Canam Spyder and don't have room for both bikes.

Please note this is a 35 year old bike so you are buying it "as is"  and without any warranty.

This bike must be paid for and picked up within 7 days of auction close. Only a certified bank check or cash will be accepted for payment.

Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.

Two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has announced he will retire following the end of the 2012 season. Rumors of Stoner’s impending retirement plans have been floating around for weeks with the 26-year-old Repsol Honda racer saying he will continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it. That seems to be the case now as the 2007 and 2011 MotoGP Champion announced he will retire at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.

GPify the Yamaha Fazer FZ8 with LeoVince

Mon, 05 Jul 2010

Here is what LeoVince has to say about the new Fazer8 and FZ8 exhausts: Quick off the mark with 3 exhaust options launched for Yamaha's brand new 800cc Fazer and FZ8 models, LeoVince promise you less weight, better looks and improved performance. These new Fazers, with their R1 engines, albeit downgraded to a smaller 800cc capacity, have been designed by Yamaha to give more bottom end power.  LeoVince have finely tuned their new slip-on GP-PRO and SBK-FACTORY exhausts to further increase both power and torque throughout the whole rev range, and endow the bike with a much improved sports sound - plus a removable db baffle for increased throatiness.
