MOTOGROTTO...THE VINTAGE AND CAFE MOTORCYCLE SHOP.SPECIALIZING IN PEACE OF MIND AND PURE MOTORCYCLING SATISFACTION EASTON PA 18040.610-749-0747 1975 HONDA CB750 in Flake Apricot Red 7270 miles Original Survivor.A friend of mine recently acquired this machine from the original owner a few years ago.It includes copies of the original invoice for the bike which sold for $2180+109.43 sales tax at Montgomery cycle in 1975.The bike has had the carbs serviced and starts right up idles nicely and runs very well.The tires maybe original and must be replaced as they have flat spots on them from sitting with low pressure for some time in the same spot.They hold air enough to roll the bike onto a shipper however.There is some patina on the bike's brightwork but there are few if any dings.There is a small ding in the tank on the left side too small to photograph.The front brake caliper leaks and needs a new seal.I may not get to this by the time the auction ends so you may have to.The seal is $16.The brake light is stuck on probably the brake light sensor.There are no cracks in the plastic sidecovers.The bike has the ignition switch relocation kit mounted on the handlebar so you don't grab a handful of hot header pipe where it was mounted close to from the factory.The exhaust is in nice shape and has the factory stamping.This bike is very much original and a great vintage ride with plenty of power and a brand new battery.YouTube video coming soon.There is no rust inside the gas tank.It is cherry.The headlight and turn signals work as well as the speedometer odometer and tachometer.The neutral light in the dash does not work,a bulb perhaps.Kick starter works.The photos and the video tell the story.2013-10-03 22:34:05Easton, Pennsylvania, US7,2701,325.00 -

1976 Honda CB (1976)
I am selling my 1976 Honda CB 400F Super Sport. The bike is a well-maintained survivor with just under 14,000 miles. The bike has always been garage-kept. I bought the bike from a collector in 2010; I rode it very occasionally and maintained it impeccably. Since I've had it, I've had the carbs rebuilt and synchronized. I've also replaced the shock seals and had the front brake master cylinder rebuilt. The tires (Avon Road Riders) are relatively new (under 500 miles). The chain was also replaced, and the battery is new this summer (Yuasa, of course!). All work was done with NOS Honda parts. While the bike looks incredible for its age, it is NOT perfect; after all, it is not a restoration. The bike does, however, have patina and character as any classic should! The bike does not have any significant flaws that detract from its appearance or value. The tank and exhaust have suffered no dents, and the engine is leak-free. The paint is in excellent condition. Up for sale is a 1976 CB750 super sport. I bought this from the original owner. The last time he had it registered was in 1984. I am a mechanic and have gone through the bike, cleaned the carbs, cleaned out the tank, rebuilt the brakes and cleaned up the bike. It is fully functional with one exception, the neutral light stays on through all the gears. It runs and drives very strong, the wiring has never been hacked apart, the vetter fairing has all the correct pigtails and the wiring has not been molested. There is a very small tear in the seat. You will not be disappointed with this bike. I have a clear title in my name. Vintage 1981 Honda CB 750 Custom. Excellent unrestored condition. 7862 miles. Purchased from the original owner. I have the original setup checklist, sales receipt and 600 mile service record from Paul J. Hanafin Honda, Endicott, NY; purchased March 1982. I also have receipts for over $1,600 from work done at Binghamton Honda in November 2014. Carbs removed and sonic cleaned twice. Replaced air cut valves, float needles, and spark plugs. Synchronized carbs. Replaced stator, reg/rectifier, and rotor. The bike currently starts, runs, shifts, brakes as designed. Everything works properly. I do have the original owners manual and I am pretty sure the toolkit is in the bike. There is a sport windshield for it and the motorcycle is wired for a battery tender. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the motorcycle. I do have a trailer and would deliver the bike for an additional fee. It is a beautiful ride! 1982 Honda CB900F Supersport Clean, modified supersport, FCR's, CBR wheels etc. etc. I have owned this bike since 2005. In 2008 I tore it completely down to the bare frame. The frame was media blasted and powder coated, along with a number of the bolt-on items; rear set backing plates, taillight mount etc. While the bike had always run well, I gave the engine a quick overhaul while it was out of the frame. The engine received a valve lap, new timing chain tensioners and a complete OEM gasket set including new head and base gaskets and new valve stem seals. A set of CB1100F cams were fitted during reassembly as the 1100F cams have a slightly hotter profile than the 900F units. A larger aftermarket oil coiler and braided oil cooler lines were also fitted. Up for sale is my 2002 Honda 919, that I have owned since new. Originally purchased in New Hampshire while attending Laconia 2002 (when my old Madura broke down), it has 6582 miles. Most of those miles were put on it within the first couple of years, as I have no time to ride anymore. I hate to see it go, but it is time. 3 years ago it dropped over in a parking lot at work and caused the scratches you see on the gauge pod and the side cover. It comes with a comfy Corbin seat (original seat is included as well). It has been garage kept all of its life. Tires are almost new, and the fronts still have nubs on them. The Italian division of Honda has comprehensively modified the CRF1000L, giving it the dashing style of an experimental vehicle along the way. There is a pretty good attempt to endow the motorcycle with the features of a Dakar monster.

The Japanese proposed a warning system about the danger that lies in wait for the driver in the blind zone. Honda engineers have proposed equipping the motorcycle with cameras and radars that will detect dangerous proximity to another vehicle or pedestrian and warn the driver through light indication or tactile feedback.
