1981 SUZUKI DS 100 Nice shape for its age it ran great a few years ago but its been sitting in a shed sense It firers right up with a shot of starting fluid,, Theres a couple dents in the tank and a couple tears in the seat. The wheels still have nice chrome on them, Tire look good and hold air but been sitting for a while and show some light cracking. This is a 1973 TS 400 Apache I acquired on a multi bike purchase which was a 74 TS250 & A 73 TS400 and this was part of the deal. Someone back in the day had converted to a trail bike by hacking the wire harness, removal of all lights and switches and has installed TM front suspension and rear wheel.. I checked spark and compression and both were great so I installed a refurbished carb from Paul Miller motorcycle, new air filter, new intake boot and throttle cable, check clutches and they were free, installed new transmission fluid, sprockets and chain, new knobbies with tubes, check tank-very clean and installed\a new fuel tap and line, regreased the steering bearings, put on some PE bars with new levers and the beast fired right up, idles and runs great for a 43 year old motorcycle The following is a lost of all new parts;Throttle cable, air filter, intake manifold, fuel tap and fuel line, levers and perches, sprockets and chain, new knobbies and tubes, front fender, rear shocks and misc hardware.2016-08-05 04:48:41Goose Creek, South Carolina, United States4004500 -

1974 Suzuki GT750 barn find project bike that I purchased in the summer of 2008 wanting to have another 74 GT750 again just like the one I owned and sold back in the '70s. I am the second owner of this bike. I purchased the bike as a project bike not knowing what it may or may not need. I can't recall the exact dollar amount that I spent getting it to where it currently is, but if I was to guess I would say it was somewhere over $2,500 that I spent for new and used oem parts from Ebay and other sources to bring it back to what you see now as well as making it drivable. I can tell you that I put countless hours into replacing any part that didn't look acceptable or didn't look almost new, with the exception of the dent in the gas tank, the chip in the radiator cover and dent in the points cover. My goal was to initially make it look great, get it running to later fully restore it to make it look like new. Suitcase Cycle would buy in motorcycles (lightweight bikes from Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki) and do the conversions in their warehouse to make them easy to breakdown. Nice looking collectable project bike...bought as a project but don't have time to work on it...it's in good condition cosmetically but does NOT run....I don't know what the issue is and it's beyond my ability to fix it...I know it needs a starter solenoid but will turn over if you jump the terminals and it fires a little but won't continue to run, again I do NOT know what the issue is, could be any number of things but it does turn and fire....it leaks a little coolant but I can't see from where, but I believe its a hose in between the cylinders, not from the engine itself...needs brakes, tires are nearly new but front leaks air a bit but I couldn't find a puncture, could be valve or rim seal....has some scratches here and there but not bad....the tail section was repainted and is cosmetically imperfect, either needs replaced or repainted professionally...Duel Yoshumiru exhaust and Dyna-jet dial in Power Commander ... all electronics work...clean title...$500 down at auction's end with balance due within seven days...good Luck!2016-06-21 04:55:26Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States226400

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool
Fri, 22 Aug 2014The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.
2015 Suzuki GW250F Revealed for China
Mon, 18 Aug 2014Suzuki’s Chinese partner Haojue has revealed a new fully-faired variant on the GW250. Revealed in Shanghai, the new GW250F follows the original naked GW250 (known in some markets as the Inazuma) and the semi-faired GW250S offered in Asia and Europe. The GW250S is powered by the same liquid-cooled 248cc Twin equipped on its siblings, claiming 24.1 hp at 8500 rpm and 16.2 ft-lb.
University Of Calgary Team Zeus To Compete In eMotoRacing Event At Miller Motorsports Park
Fri, 08 Aug 2014eMotoRacing will hold it’s eighth race of the 2014 season at Miller Motorsports Park, in Tooele, Utah. Though there has been a great stirring of rumors as to who will be in attendance, one thing is certain — there will be a good mix of contestants, including the official Brammo racing team, and Team “ZEUS” of the University of Calgary. “ZEUS” stands for “Zero Emission Ucalgary Superbike,” and the team is comprised of engineers, business and physics majors. The team will be racing their Generation I bike, which uses an Agni 95-R motor mounted to the frame of a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R 600, which was straight from the factory, and then stripped of its gasoline engine components.
Stefan Bradl Signs with NGM Forward for 2015 MotoGP Season

Kevin Schwantz To Serve As Embassador For AIMExpo

Aaron League To Become Youngest American To Tackle Manx Grand Prix
Thu, 17 Jul 2014Charlotte-based motorcycle racer Aaron League is set to become the youngest ever American to tackle the Manx Grand Prix next month. The 23-year-old will join Lancashire-based Rea Racing to pilot a Suzuki SV650 in the Newcomers B and Supertwin classes. League will make his debut on the Isle of Man at this year’s Manx Grand Prix ahead of a planned assault on the 2015 Pirelli National Superstock 600 Championship, as he bids to break onto the British short circuit racing scene.
2014 WSBK – Laguna Seca Results
Mon, 14 Jul 2014Marco Melandri rebounded from last week’s disappointing Portimao round to win Race One at Laguna Seca while Tom Sykes extended his championship lead with a win in a red-flagged Race Two. Melandri got taken out of the second Portimao race after his Aprilia teammate Sylvain Guintoli slid into his RSV4. Melandri looked eager to make up for that DNF, leading every lap of Race One on his way to his third win of the season.
