this is a high quality restoration for some reason the camera doesn't catch an effect that the paint has, it needs to be seen in person, I will try to list everything that has been done. dealer installed steering stabilizer and oil cooler, Bridgestone battleax tires rims converted to tubeless and powder coated, all balls wheel and steering bearings, machined rotors and new pads, rebuilt calipers and rear master cylinder, new old stock front master cylinder assembly, Goodrich ss brake lines and fittings, dot 5 fluid, kyb reservoir shocks with lighter 1 up springs, progressive fork springs new fork seals and dust shields, tarozzi fork brace and rear sets, kerker megaphone with ceramic coated head pipe and comp.baffle xoring chain and sprockets, powder coated calipers frame fork legs engine side covers and valve cover, dyna ignition and coils, msd wires, agm battery, solid state rectifier, web 3x cams degreed in, lots of porting work, stock pistons, 34mm mikuni flat slides, k&n super pods pingle petcock, polished ss and chrome hardware euro badges. this runs and drives like a dream, it pufs a little oil when it has been sitting a week or so most likely old valve seals, the engine work was done in the late 80s before I bought it.

Published almost everywhere, It starts as a 1978 KZ650 where the cylinders have been bored and sleeved to 830cc with a MTC big bore kit from the late 70s. The upper case has been machined as well. This was a complete case split rebuilt documented with pictures (uploaded on my website) The turbo kit is from ATP American Turbo Pak (ATP branded intake manifold, turbocharger RayJay F40 and exhaust manifold and pipe), just like the one that equipped the Kawasaki Z1R-TC back in 1978-79.

One owner 1978 Kawasaki KZ 650 comes with original title from 1978 brand-new NGK plugs super clean well taken care of clean classic bike. New Metzler tires ,chrome four into one header super trap exhaust.front header pipes are not rusty or dented up they are very nice. Derale cooler,also comes with original stock air cleaner and rubber collars.Some white paint missing on the 650 emblems a few very small rock chips otherwise original factory paint in great shape a small amount of paint bubbling on the right control [see pic] taillight has a hairline crack hard to see in the picture starts runs and drives well above good condition superclean classic no corrosion on the wheels all the chrome is in great shape.

Hard to find 1978 Kawasaki Z1R, Kawasaki's entry into the Superbike war of 1978. Good running, well kept bike. Bike was painted black sometime in the 1980's and the stripe kit to duplicate the 1980 Z1R paint job was added later. There are small nicks and dings but is still shiny and presentable. Seat is cover is a very nice newer duplicate. Exhaust is a Vance and Hines 4 into 1 that's a few years old and in very good condition. Not real loud but has a nice sound. Bike runs good, tank is clean inside and it has no oil or gas leaks. Tires are older but serviceable. Original kickstarter lever that belongs under the seat is gone and stock windshield was replaced 2 years ago. Have the little chrome cover that goes over the seat lock but the spring is missing. Fresh oil change and new battery. Everything works but the fuel gauge. Overall a good rider quality bike or a good candidate for full restoration. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. 1978 Kawasaki Kz1000 LTD. This is a super clean, low mile (9,246), and original bike in excellent condition. Starts, runs, drives, and stops just as it should. Engine is smooth, quiet, and powerful. Does not smoke or leak oil. Original paint is shiny in excellent condition. Chrome is also excellent. Seat has no holes or tears. All electrical items work correctly. I believe the only non-original part the on bike is the front tire. An excellent example a nearly 40yr. old bike that was bought new here in town and has been well taken care of and not altered in any way. Intermot 2014: Kawasaki Ninja H2R Well, it appears the H2R’s speed capabilities are commensurate with the hype. “I went 210mph on it today,” said Kawasaki test rider and racer Jeremy Toye on his Instagram account on October 2, accompanied by a picture of an H2R.
