Up for auction is a 2009 V-Max. It has 11,891 miles. Front tire has 1,000 miles on it. Rear tire has about 2,500 miles on it. It is in excellent condition, it has never been dropped or damaged. I have had it up to speed but have always taken care not to abuse it. The 1997 is the Gunmetal Grey model and in my opinion is the best color the bike has ever come in. This is the original V-Max, produced from 1985-2009. Yamaha V-max, 1200cc, 2002 with 8220 original miles (2002)
Up for auction is a low mileage, nice 2002 Yamaha V-max. I bought the bike from a salvage-yard approximately 3 years ago and rebuilt it. The bike was laid down on its right side. No motor or frame damage occurred during this accident. The radiator, water pump, right side pegs, mirror and handle bar were replaced (see attached photographs). The tip of the end of the exhaust has a small area of abrasion approximately 1" in size (see pictures). An authorized Yamaha Dealer inspected, tested and tuned the bike before I started riding it. I also put a low profile custom seat and a super brace on the front fork. I have ridden the bike lightly over the past 2 1/2 years. It is too strong a bike for me to feel comfortable riding. Note that this is a very strong running motorcycle and I recommend that only experienced riders bid on it. I have priced this bike to sell. Yamaha V-MAX, Low Mileage, Extra Clean, Like New Condition, Stock (2002)
This motorcycle is in tip-top condition. You will not find a 2002 VMAX in better condition. It looks and runs like it just came off the showroom floor. It is completely stock. This motorcycle has always been garage kept, the paint, chrome and trim are excellent, it is mechanically perfect and stock, the seat covering is excellent and it starts and runs like a dream. It has a new battery and the tires are like new, maybe 95%. There are absolutely no issues with the carbon fiber. There is a scratch on the right side of the engine rotor cover which is minor and easily repaired. The wheels and chrome excellent. The two intake scoops have minor wear from knees pressing against them. I'm pointing out a few issues but they are totally minor. LEGEND The Yamaha VMAX never stopped living up to its reputation. Achieving muscle-bike status doesn't come easy and keeping it for over 20 years is even harder. The original 1198cc V-4 power cruiser has a unique style, stance and look that's all its own.
