    FS 1962 honda sport 50, I bought with original motor but mice were living inside bike and ate all the wires, so bought and mounted the lifan 125 cc motor, its also wired up. I bought as a project and don't have the time for it, I basically put the lifan motor on it and started it but wasn't able to drive due to throttle cable breaking and gas leak in the tank. (it leaks enough that it will need to be repaired right away, but I don't know where leak is so you'll have to pull the tank).

    I am selling my 1972 Honda CL175 with 5,784 miles.  I would call this bike, for the year, to be in excellent condition.  The original seat is flawless.  The front and rear tires, along with the battery have been replaced.  Gas tank has been cleaned inside and sealed, carbs rebuilt and it has had a complete tuneup.  The oils have been changed and the filter cleaned.  This bike starts and runs like new.  The bike has been stored inside as you can tell by the seat, the paint and the red color in the tac and speedometer are still bright.  There are some minor flaws so that you know that I am accurately representing this bike.  The front rim has a spot rust mark, the front forks on the lower part will not polish up perfect, the tank has a small blemish on the right side, the right exhaust pipe has a blue spot and there is a small rash on the muffler guard.  This bike has a clean Iowa title.  If you are serious about wanting to own a bike of this vintage this is the one. $200 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of the auction end.  This must be cash or through Paypal.  The remaining balance must be paid cash, cashier's check, Paypal or USPS money order.  The bike will not leave until payment has cleared.     You are looking at a 99% complete as far as I can tell (no tool kit) 1972 Honda CL350 Scrambler with a title! This would make a great winter restoration or cafe racer project.  The biggest issue is the gas tank. It is very rusty inside as you can see in the photo but the tank is very solid and not rusted through.

    1973 Honda CL175.  Over the winter this motorcycle was disasembled and the following repairs or parts were replaced. New battery, seat cover, piston rings and cylinders honed.  Motor is still on original bore.  Previous owner had stripped spark plug hole so "Time Serts"  were installed in both spark plug holes while head was off.  Carbs were cleaned and all needles, jets and springs replaced.  New drive chain, front brake light switch, accelerator cables and exterior engine bolt kit.  Now has hex bolts for all engine covers. The gas tank was cleaned and sealed at local radiator shop.  All dents were fixed and tank and side covers sprayed with Honda Ruby Red.  New fuel petcock then installed.

    Hello and thanks for looking at my auction.Up for bid is my 1972 Honda 350CL.I bought this used in 2010  from back east and had it shipped out here in a closed container.This bike had been well maintained and shows no rust.I had the bike gone through by one of the best Honda people here in Los Angeles west side(venice).Minor tune up carb clean etc.(have bill)Had the pipes rechromed,and a new paint job.Its all back together but i have decided not to do any riding in Los Angeles(age related) and thus am selling it.I forgot to mention that the original seat had a small repair done at some point. For its age its in really nice shape and whet i did only added to its additional life. More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Honda reported sales of 4.137 million motorcycles over its first quarter ended June 30, 2014. That represents a 2.0% increase over the results of the same quarter the previous year, which doesn’t sound like much. But then you remember that 2.0% still represents an additional 83,000 motorcycles (including ATVs), such is the scale involved in a company like Honda.
